Local Housebuilder Offers Cheshire First-Time Buyers Help with Legal Fees, Deposit and Even Furnishings
Five star housebuilder David Wilson Homes (DWH) North West is giving Cheshire first time buyers a helping hand in taking their first step on the property ladder at its Sandbach development, Gilbert’s Cross.
On selected plots DWH North West is paying stamp duty on behalf of first time buyers up to the value of £1,099 and will put up to £1,000 towards buyers’ legal fees. What’s more, first time buyers will also benefit from having flooring and carpets included in the house price, along with an upgraded kitchen which features integrated appliances.
A three bedroom house at the site, on Moss Lane in Sandbach, starts at a price of £179,995 and with the use of Help to Buy, a deposit of just £9,000 is needed to secure and then move into the new home.
The housebuilder has launched this great package to support the property dreams of first time buyers, many of whom struggle to gather the necessary deposit and fees. This support is more than necessary for most, as recent research has found more than a third of first time buyers are now aged over 30 and a quarter will save for six years before being able to secure their own home.
DWH North West Sales Director, Steve Jackson, said: “Buying a house is obviously a massive commitment and working through the financial arrangements can seem confusing for even the most experienced of house hunters.
“That’s why we wanted to provide a helping hand for first time buyers, by providing a great package which includes help with finance, fees and fitting out a dream home.
“Our on-site teams are always available to provide simple, honest advice, and I’d strongly recommend popping in for a chat about your house buying options.”
The Gilbert’s Cross development offers a range of three and four bedroom homes with prices starting from £179,995. To find out more information call 0844 811 33 66 or visit www.dwh.co.uk. The sales office opening times are from 12.30pm-5.30pm on Monday and 10am-5.30pm Thursday to Sunday.
